Dead Cowboy (2012) COLOMBIA. Chitaraque. 29 July 2012. Young Colombian Alejandro pretending to be dead. Since 2010 the violence in Colombia, fueled by the cocaine trade, has decreased. In part, this progress was born of a controversial peace process and the steady erosion of control by guerrillas over their former territory. But, since the beginning of hostilities, the fighting has killed 250 000 and displaced millions more.
